Programme Overview

This top-up is equivalent to your final year of undergraduate study. You’ll be brought up to speed with the issues managers face in today’s business world, whilst developing your strategic and management skills. You’ll explore the internal and external business environment, gaining an in-depth understanding of business functions.

Syllabus content

During this course, you’ll gain the skills to become an effective manager in a wide range of business environments. By helping you understand modern business functions and hone strategic business skills, you’ll graduate with the groundwork to fulfil your career aspirations.

CMI Accreditation

Chartered Management Institute (CMI) accreditation means graduates will be automatically awarded the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status. This professional status recognises that you have the foundation skills needed to be an effective manager, helping you to stand out from the competition and start your management career journey – with a clear pathway to achieving full Chartered Manager status.

You’ll also gain a Level 6 Certification in Strategic Leadership and Management alongside your degree at no additional cost, and receive free CMI membership throughout your studies, which permits access to exclusive resources, mentoring services, as well as networking events.

Entry Requirements

A relevant HND or equivalent, provided that the total of your learning experience allows you to achieve the aims of the programme.
If you are not an English native speaker, you will be required to provide us with a proof of English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above.
